Whats Next?

So now that you have your letter, whats next?

Well when you look in your folder you will see something like this... (To the left) Inside your folder is a personal letter to you that lists the job you have been given, the period of time you will be part of the program (Fall, Fall Advantage, Fall Quarter) and how much money you will be making an hour (Dont ask me how much I get payed, im not allowed to tell you, so dont waist your time in asking me). You will also get a checklist of things you need to do before you get to the program. You will also get a sheet about the disney look. What I like about Disney, is they really want you to be prepared before you arrive to the program. The disney look, if you are reading this before you apply, is how all cast members are supposed to look while working for the Walt Disney Company. Things like women are to have one hair color and men are to be clean shaved.

After that you are to log into the the special area for cast members who are currently attending or just been accepted to the program. From there you are able to log in and pay you NON REFUNDABLE $100 assessment fee. Why I capitalized the non refundable is because that is what it is, non refundable.. meaning they wont be giving it back no matter how long you complain and beg. When you accept your position on the website, it saves your position for up to two weeks. If you dont pay your assessment fee by two weeks you position could be lost. Which could be bad since the college program is pretty much everyones dream, well at least its your dream and getting accepted is allowing you to follow that dream and not paying the fee could end up with you not being able to attend the program.

After that, all you have is the site. There are different things for you to do like some of the paperwork that you will be able to complete early before you actually get to Vista Way on your check it date. There are videos are more informatioal things for you to see, now that you have accepted your position. After that, its the long wait till your check in date. I know it is for me, its going to be hard to wait till May to check in. but luckily for me, school ends on the 17th, so the wait might speeed up a little but as I get towards finals of my final term of school. But thats all for now, Congradulations to everyone who is recieving their letters and for everyone else, they are on their way... I promise
